On february 12 and 13, we organized a workshop to finalize the NWO-funded project ” Ecology and conservation of sea turtles in the Dutch Caribbean” in Wageningen. Here we discussed the results of recent sea turtle research and monitoring to lay the groundwork for a conservation action plan containing current status and recommendations for sea turtle conservation in The Dutch Caribbean. for an overview of research output of this price

During the workshop a story map was released: This includes data on sea turtle migration routes and nesting and foraging grounds in the Dutch Caribbean collected during the project by the team and NGOs with whom we collaborate

The data shows the need for an international approach to conserve these endangered species and their habitats.
