WildMarsh is seeking collaborators and field sites!

December 8, 2025

We’re preparing a Europe-wide study for spring/summer 2026 to explore how trophic rewilding influences salt marsh resilience to climate change in our WildMarsh project

Do you manage—or know someone who manages—salt marsh areas with large grazers (e.g., water buffalo, deer, moose, wild boar, cattle, sheep)?
Or are you a researcher or land/nature manager with insights into potential field locations?

We’d love to add new sites to our project map (see below) and connect with colleagues across Europe.

If you can help, please get in touch with Marieke Mom and Jente van Leeuwe.
And feel free to share or forward this message—your network may be key to expanding this research!
