BSc Marine Science – Started!

By talhaiti71@gmail.com   |  September 16, 2023  |    Uncategorized

Just 2 weeks ago, we kicked off the exciting new BSc program in Marine Systems at WUR, we’re thrilled to have 110 students on board! This program beautifully combines food, nature, society, and personal development. A big

shoutout to the incredible team that made it all happen, reflecting on how far we’ve come since that first advisory committee meeting 3 years ago. Week 1 directly started with a rich program of lectures

In week 2, we had the privilege of visiting the Wadden Sea Experience Centre in Den Oever. It was an immersive dive into the Wadden Sea! We got our hands and feet dirty in the mud, collected benthos samples, meticulously monitored salt marsh transects, and absorbed invaluable wisdom from local fishermen. Al with Perfect sunny weather for some truly hands-on learning! ☀️ hashtag#MarineScience hashtag#FieldWork @WaddenSea @WUR in the field with Celine van Bijsterveldt Martin Baptist Reindert Nijland Rosa van der Ven Diede Maas Britt van Herpen
