Where to Stay?
Hopefully the information in the table below helps you to choose a place to stay on Derawan. There is something for everyones wishes. Because of a large financial input of from the Government after the “Indonesian Water games” were held at Derawan in 2008, there is more choice of accommodations. So don’t all go to Losmen Danaken because it’s in the Lonely Planet but also allow the other losmens some income!

All places have only 12 hours power a day (18:00 – 6:00) exept DBC and DDR who have their own generator. Though use a power stabilisor at these two places to protect against power surges.
